Hello Community:

Children, little ones and the child within each of us, so delight in this time of year.

When my son was two, his sweet countenance and ready smile brought joy to everyone he met. We joked riches awaited us if we could figure out how to bottle his full souled laughter.

This week’s Musing is a poem I wrote all those years ago, inspired by him and children everywhere.  It was informed by the joy and responsibility born in me as a new parent.

The sweet beingness of Erin, granddaughter of a dear friend in Redlands, CA graces our post today. Rhonda* has been teaching her very young granddaughter to meditate.  You absolutely feel the emanation of joy and grace gazing at this picture.  I thank Rhonda, and Erin’s mom Whitney, for allowing us to enjoy her sweetness this holiday season.  It so perfectly captures the spirit of the poem.

Finally, I invite you to consider books and resources for children this holiday season to help them, like little Erin, keep the beautiful knowingness of their soul truth alive.  When my son Matthew was young, I read him “The Lovables in the Kingdom of Self-Esteem” by Diana Loomans so many times I can’t remember.  Over the years, I’ve gifted this book to other little ones too.  Alan Watts’ book, “The Fish Who Found the Sea” is wonderful for kids of all ages.  This week Sound’s True launched a fabulous initiative called, Sounds True Kids

Thank you for joining me in doing all we can for our precious little ones.

“To kids from one to 92, Merry Christmas”!

Imagine…
Each & every child conceived in love.
Imagine…
Each & every child’s arrival heralded in joy!
Imagine…
Each & every child born in a stable of love, surrounded by the sweet breath of peace.
Imagine…
Each & every newborn’s ears filled with soft murmurings of devotion.
Imagine…
The glow of a thousand stars shining – one over the birthplace of each & every child.
Imagine…
The confidence of creation as each & every child’s father stands by them with pride.
Imagine…
A soft and gentle awe blanketing the Earth as those out in the fields come softly in to bless each & every child.
Imagine…
The flow of abundance, laughter and tears as each & every child is honored with the gifts of wise ones.
Imagine…
The sigh of relief in every city, state and nation as leaders the world over search out each & every child to bless them with love.
Imagine…
The blush of contentment felt all ’round the world as each & every child is nursed to sleep.
Imagine…
The smiling face of the God of each & every race, creed and religion as love’s message is finally born in the heart of every parent.
Imagine…
Peals of laughter from each & every playground as the world’s cherished children go out to play, everyday!
Imagine…
The beauty of a world, our world, reigned by love, from the hearts of each and every one.

AFFIRMATION
Taking a deep breath, I turn within. I connect with sweet grace in my heart and soul. My heart expands and I see with the eyes of Spirit each and every child. I see a world mirroring love to each and every child. I join with Life Energy sending each and every child Love this holiday season. I ask my intuition, “what can I do to support a world that works for each and every child?” Listening, I receive guidance, then I take action unique to the beauty and presence of me.
