This month I’m sharing my first interview as the founder of Permission to Bloom, featured on Humans of Fuzia.

In it, I talk about the messy, beautiful truth of transitions, and how following our inner wisdom can lead to impact we couldn’t have planned.

I’m also stepping into a new chapter: live community-based appearances and nonprofit workshops designed to support women. First up is an event in Silicon Valley this week, focused on ecology, belonging, and blooming where we are.  Information below for those in the area.

If you’re navigating a change of your own, or dreaming about the next expression of your purpose—know you’re not alone. For a bit of heart-centered grounding, revisit this summer reflection on being your deepest heartbeat.

With you on the path,
Glenna

I recently had the honor of being interviewed by Humans of Fuzia, a global platform that amplifies women’s voices across 35+ countries. In the piece, I share how Permission to Bloom emerged from my own life transitions—and how we can all transform moments of uncertainty into sources of inner strength and purpose.

We talk about:

  • Why I created Permission to Bloom as a space for women and teams to connect with and act from their deepest purpose

  • How “transitional intelligence” can turn challenges into creative breakthroughs

  • My journey from renewable energy leadership to purpose-driven coaching

  • What it means to live aligned with your soul self, even in professional roles

It’s both a personal reflection and an invitation: to believe that your blooming is not only possible—but deeply needed.

This Thursday, August 7 at 10am, I’ll be facilitating a workshop at this intimate outdoor event hosted by LEAF (Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont), where we’ll explore purpose, connection, and renewal through storytelling and nature. It’s a chance to reflect, reset, and connect with other mission-driven women in a beautiful community garden setting.

I wrote this piece in summer 2022, and oh how it resonates now: “In this time of great turmoil, of unprecedented unfairness, of old paradigms clinging desperately, falsely, unabashedly to realities of the past, there is the absolute knowingness within us that the solutions do not exist at the level of the problems. They do not exist in the thinking that created the realities. They exist in a higher frequency, a higher love, a higher calling.”

AFFIRMATION

Today, in this very moment, I enter into the chamber of my most sacred Self and give thanks. I give thanks for me. I give thanks for my connection to all of Life. I give thanks for the heartbeat of my love, my life, my contribution.
